M.J. Hobbs is a wonderful place for students to learn and experience new things! We've enjoyed one year now welcoming grade 3 students to Hobbs, alongside our grades 4 – 8 which is still makes us very unique. We are lucky to receive the students from Hampton Jr (K-2), entering grade 3 here at Hobbs and staying with us until the end of grade 8. We also receive the grade 6 students arriving from Enniskillen PS who join us each year for grade 7 and 8.
Our school community offers a variety of ways to get involved: school sports, art/clubs, assemblies, band/choir opportunities, book clubs, art/writing contests and many other school events (Seniors Luncheon). We are fortunate to have staff members who give endless amounts of time providing new experiences for our students. Thanks to our Student Council, we enjoy numerous "Spirit Days" throughout the year. Each year brings new fundraising events, supporting our community (Terry Fox, Autism Awareness, Remembrance Day, Food/Clothing Drives).
We look forward each year to refreshing ideas, new initiatives, and leadership opportunities that our staff and students work together to create!
Please visit us on Twitter, Edsby, and Websby to share in some of our experiences!
